VENOM: New BBC Session Posted Online

British black metal pioneers VENOM's brand-new session for the BBC, which was recorded last month at London's Maida Vale studios, was broadcast on Radio 1 on April 11 during Mike Davies' "Rock Show". This is the second recording by VENOM since 1985, when they laid down four tracks for Tommy Vance's "Friday Rock Show".

VENOM recorded the following songs during the latest session:

01. Welcome to Hell
02. Metal Black
03. Antechrist
04. Witching Hour

As previously reported, VENOM performed at the Mean Fiddler in London on March 25, 2006. Check out pictures from Wire Image.

VENOM's new album, "Metal Black", was released in North America on April 4 via Sanctuary Records. The CD was mixed at the Townhouse Studios in London and contains 14 new songs.

VENOM have lined up a number of European dates during the coming months.
