VICIOUS RUMORS Comments On One-Night-Only Reunion With Original Singer
December 17, 2008Original VICIOUS RUMORS vocalist Gary St. Pierre (ex-HAWAII),who sang on the group's 1985 debut, "Soldiers of the Night", will rejoin the band for its appearance at the Headbangers Open Air festival, set to take place July 23-25, 2009 in in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany.
Commented the band: "In tribute to the band's 30 years of metal, VICIOUS RUMORS will welcome back Gary St. Pierre, vocalist on the band's first album, 'Soldiers Of The Night'. Gary will sit in on classic songs from the first album at the Headbangers Open Air during VICIOUS RUMORS' set on Thursday, July 23 exclusively as a special event. VICIOUS RUMORS will also headline the pre-festival club show on July 22 at Planet Alsen in Itzehoe, Germany. Our current lineup will play at all shows and we're all looking forward to have a great time with Gary on the classic stuff at Headbangers Open Air. VICIOUS RUMORS has been kicking ass on the road in the USA and Europe in 2008 and will start recording their upcoming CD in early 2009."

VICIOUS RUMORS earlier in the year announced the addition of singer Ronnie Stixx (SHADOWKEEP, DIVINE RUINS) and guitarist Kiyoshi Morgan to the group's ranks.
Ronnie was born in Los Angeles and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He has made a name for himself in the metal world with a vocal style that is melodic and aggressive. Ronnie's main influences are such great vocalist as Carl Albert (VICIOUS RUMORS),Tony Harnell (TNT) and Ronnie James Dio.
