VICIOUS RUMORS Signs With SPV/STEAMHAMMER

San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans VICIOUS RUMORS have inked a worldwide deal (excluding Japan) with SPV/Steamhammer. The band's new album, "Razorback Killer", will be released in March 2011. The 10-track CD was recorded at Trident Studios in Pacheco, California with producers Juan Urteaga and VICIOUS RUMORS mastermind/guitarist Geoff Thorpe. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Razorback Blade" (see performance video below),"Deal with the Devil", "All I Want Is You", "Axe to Grind" and "Murderball".

Guest musicians on the CD include Mark McGee (ex-VICIOUS RUMORS; guitar on two songs),Brad Gillis (NIGHT RANGER, OZZY OSBOURNE; lead guitar on one song) and Eric Peterson (TESTAMENT; wicked harmony and shred solo on the the track "Murderball").

VICIOUS RUMORS will co-headline the Keep It True festival in Germany in April 2011 with a special tribute to late VR singer Carl Albert featuring Kevin Albert on vocals (Carl's son),along with appearances by other former members of the band.
