Biazzi explores a darker sound but harnesses the sweep of European-style metal familiar to his Italian heritage. His intricate playing, weaving between the throbbing melodies and Cristina Scabbia's vocals, landed the band on a much larger stage with the success of "Comalies" in 2004. With the recent release "Dark Adrenaline", Maus continues to paint sonic melodies while wielding off flourishing leads.
