VINCE NEIL: 'I've Learned From The Mistakes I've Made'

December 20, 2012

In a new interview with MLive.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil spoke about what keeps him inspired to play casinos around the country with his solo band when he is not busy performing in arenas around the world with the CRÜE. "I do it because I'm having fun," he said. "I love the arenas but it's fun to be onstage in smaller venues with these guys. You don't have to put on a big show when the music does the talking."

Neil, who penned "Tattoos & Tequila: To Hell and Back with One of Rock's Most Notorious Frontmen", a 2010 biography that captured the ups and downs of his long, wild ride, claims to have come out a better person after after his countless battles with the law and a number of legal and personal setbacks.

"I've learned from the mistakes I've made," Neil said, "and I know how to do things better next time. Through it all, you have to believe in your music. When times get bad, you can't give up. You can't be too proud. Things will get better, absolutely."
