VINCE NEIL: Performance Footage From Chicopee Available
October 22, 2010Fan-filmed video footage of MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil performing the CRÜE classic "Live Wire" on Friday, October 15 at Maximum Capacity in Chicopee, Massachusetts can be viewed below.
Neil opened up in a recent interview with Popeater about some of the more controversial passages in his newly released memoir, "Tattoos & Tequila". Among Neil's targets in the book are the other members of the CRÜE themselves, with Neil writing that he dreads when one of them calls because there's always an "ulterior motive." Asked about this, Neil explained, "For a while there was always an ulterior motive for everything that was done and I still think that way. When decisions are made about something I always try to figure out the angle. I don't completely trust them but I don't think they completely trust me either . . . That's with all MÖTLEY business, not just the band."
But Neil added about his bandmates, "It's not that I don't like them — we love each other . . . Everybody has their quirks and some are more irritating than others."
As for managers, Neil was briefer, saying, "They're all scum."
Neil also called troubled actor Mel Gibson a "great guy" and admitted he was surprised to hear the recent tapes of Gibson making racist and threatening remarks to his girlfriend, saying, "He's a friend and I've never seen that part of him. When we used to hang out we would drink and smoke cigars."
