May 10, 2006MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil presented a one-million-dollar commemorative check to the T.J. Martell Foundation at the 10th annual Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament on May 5, 2006, in Simi Valley, CA. The check represents the over one million dollars Neil has raised over the past ten years for the T.J. Martell Foundation in memory of his late daughter Skylar. The 2006 event raised over $175,000 to help fund research for cancer, leukemia, and AIDS. Fans can help the cause by participating in the ZRock Crue for the Cure online rockathon and purchasing Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament t-shirts for $20 (includes shipping). These are the same t-shirts presented to golfers and celebrities at the golf tournament. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund and T.J. Martell Foundation. Highlights of the tournament included a Jagermeister bus at the 5th hole and a bevy of "girls, girls, girls" throughout the course, including girls from Playboy, Hawaiian Tropic, ZRock, Hooters, Pure Play, Wicked, Red Light District, Rockstar, Elegant Angel, and Benchwarmers. The live auction, hosted by Tiffany Granath of Playboy Radio's "Afternoon Advice" on Sirius Satellite Radio, included MÖTLEY CRÜE autographed guitars and Walk of Fame replica, and autographed Jagermeister guitar, and lunch with Wicked Pictures contract girl Jessica Drake.
