VINCE NEIL's Hometown Show Will Go Ahead Despite DUI Arrest
June 30, 2010According to the Las Vegas Weekly, MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil's performance at the Palms Pool & Bungalows tomorrow night (Thursday, July 1) will go ahead despite Sunday night's arrest for drunken driving. Vince and his wife, Lia, posted a $2,000 bond for his release, and a tentative court date for September 27 has been set. No details about the arrest or the police report will be released, and Vince's attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld said "everything is far too premature" for a response.
Neil, 49, faces one count of DUI-Liquor, Las Vegas police spokesman Bill Cassell told CNN. He was arrested at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
The singer was also allegedly involved in an incident in front of a Hilton Hotel where a fan said her camera was broken, Cassell said. Police are investigating that incident.
