VINCE NEIL Talks Tres Rios Cantina On FOX 5 'More' Show

June 27, 2010

MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil and Ken Ciancimino, Las Vegas Hilton Executive Vice-President, were recent guests on the Fox 5 "More" show with Monica Jackson to talk about the opening of Vince's new Tres Rios Cantina at the Las Vegas Hilton. Watch the chat below.

The Vince Neil Tres Rios Cantina grand opening and VIP party took place Saturday, June 12 and was hosted by celebrity writer Robin Leach. Robin Leach also presented Vince Neil with Mayor Oscar B. Goodman's proclamation of "Vince Neil Tattoos & Tequila Day" for June 12 in Vince's adopted hometown of Las Vegas. Prior to the unveiling of the Cantina, Robin Leach moderated a panel featuring Vince Neil, Ben Greenberg, Senior Editor of Grand Central Publishing, which will release Neil's book in September, Reisha Roopchand, General Manager at Tres Rios Beverage Group, Co., who've partnered with Vince on the Tres Rios Tequila line and Ken Ciancimino.

Vince Neil's tell-all book "Tattoos & Tequila", will be released on September 23 via New York's Grand Central Publishing.

Neil says the "Tattoos & Tequila" book is the perfect follow-up to the MÖTLEY CRÜE book "The Dirt" because he didn't talk much about himself in that, and this new one is all him.

Neil has just released his new solo CD, also titled "Tattoos & Tequila" (Eleven Seven Music). It is a compilation of genre-defining hits that have been given the Vince Neil rock renewal treatment. Neil's refreshed collection of classics consists of nine hand-picked, influential covers including "No Feelings" (SEX PISTOLS),"Nobody's Fault" (AEROSMITH),"Bitch Is Back" (ELTON JOHN),"Viva Las Vegas" (ELVIS PRESLEY),"He's A Whore" (CHEAP TRICK),"Long Cool Woman" (THE HOLLIES),"Another Piece of Meat" (SCORPIONS),"Who'll Stop the Rain" (CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL),"AC/DC" (THE SWEET) and two new tracks — "Tattoos & Tequila", the hard-rocking first single, and Another Bad Day", which was written by Nikki Sixx and was originally to be included on MÖTLEY CRÜE's 2000 release "New Tattoo".

When not performing, Vince Neil continues to expand and oversee his latest entrepreneurial efforts, which include Feelgoods Rock Bar and Grill in West Palm Beach and Las Vegas; Vince Neil Ink, a Las Vegas-based tattoo parlor and apparel shop with two locations — one on the Las Vegas strip and one in the Rio Hotel & Casino; Tres Rios Tequila, a high-quality, authentic Mexican tequila created from the finest Agave in Guadalajara Mexico; The Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation, a tribute to Vince's daughter whom he lost to cancer in 1995 which has raised over $2 million to help combat childhood cancer and his latest venture, Vince Neil Aviation, a luxury air charter service providing the rock n' roll commute on either his Lear 35 or Hawker 700 jets.
