VINNIE PAUL: Details Of Canadian In-Store Appearances Announced

Former PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott has announced the details of his upcoming Canadian promotional tour to promote his Pearl signature snare drum, REBEL MEETS REBEL and "DimeVision - Vol 1: That's The Fun I Have" (the recently released DVD tribute to late PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott). He will be making the following in-store appearances:

Oct. 20 - Calgary, Alberta - Mothers Music
Oct. 21 - Edmonton, Alberta - Long & McQuade
Oct. 22 - Prince George, B.C. - Electron Sound & Percussion
Oct. 23 - Kelowna, B.C. - Wentworth Music
Oct. 24 - Vancouver, B.C. - Pacific Drums
Oct. 25 - Nanaimo, B.C. - Music Max

Vinnie Paul is scheduled to make an appearance at the Hard Rock Café's 35th anniversary party in New York City's Times Square September 18. "They will induct Dime's famed diamond-plated guitar from the 'Reinventing the Steel Tour' into the NYC Hard Rock," Vinnie previously stated. "Also MÖTLEY CRÜE is performing... should be a hell of a night and a very special event!!!!"

As previously reported, "DimeVision - Vol 1: That's The Fun I Have" has been officially certified gold in Canada. The disc was previously certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for U.S. shipments of 50,000 units.
