VINNIE PAUL Talks About HELLYEAH, PHILIP ANSELMO, TED NUGENT: Audio Available

February 22, 2007

An eight-minute audio interview with former PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN and current HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott, conducted earlier in the month by Meltdown of Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).

As previously reported, HELLYEAH will shoot a video for its first single, "You Wouldn't Know", in the parking lot of the Dallas, Texas recording studio co-owned by Vinnie Paul and his late brother and bandmate, guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. The clip will be shot on Sunday, February 25, and fans can go to HELLYEAH's MySpace page for information on how they can attend and take part in the shoot. The song comes off the band's self-titled debut album, which arrives on April 10.

HELLYEAH features members of MUDVAYNE and NOTHINGFACE in addition to Vinnie Paul.

The band recorded its album at the Dallas studio, where several PANTERA albums were also cut.
