VINNY APPICE On DERRINGER Tour: 'The Response We Received Was Just Amazing!'

May 22, 2008

Drummer Vinny Appice (DERRINGER, BLACK SABBATH, DIO, HEAVEN AND HELL) has issued the following update:

"DERRINGER has just finished up the first eight shows in the U.S. The band was tight and kicking butt! The response we received was just amazing!

"Considering that we haven't played together in 32 years and 32 years ago we were only together as a band for 18 months. We recorded two studio albums and one live album in that time.

"I was totally blown away meeting the fans and signing albums and photos they have held for years. A big thanks to you guys!

"We are heading to Europe in June for our first-EVER DERRINGER performance outside the U.S. and Canada. Should be quite interesting."

Upcoming DERRINGER shows:

June 05 - Slvesborg, Sweden - Sweden Rock
June 06 - London, UK - The Astoria
June 07 - Sheffield, UK - The Academy
June 08 - Newcastle, UK - The Academy
June 09 - Crewe, UK - The Limelight
June 10 - Bristol, UK - The Bierkeller
