VINTERSORG Set Tentative Track Listing For 'The Focusing Blur'

December 30, 2002

Sweden's VINTERSORG, featuring vocalist Vintersorg of the Norwegian band BORKNAGAR, have set the tentative track listing for their upcoming album, "The Focusing Blur", due in early 2003 through Napalm Records.

The follow-up to this year's "Visions From The Spiral Generator" will contain the following cuts:

01. Prologue Dialogue
02. The Essence
03. The Thesises Seasons
04. Matrix Odyssey
05. Star Puzzled
06. A Sphere In A Sphere (To Infinity)
07. Blindsight Complexity
08. Artifacts Of Chaos
09. Dark Matter Mystery/Blackbody Spectrum
10. Curtains
11. A Microscopical Macrocosm

According to Vintersorg, "The next album is going to have the format of a concept/theme album, a story running through the albums entirety, and with a musical flow that includes small compositions between the 'real' songs. The music takes off from 'Visions From The Spiral Generator' and twists and turns through a vast genre spectra (as always with VINTERSORG). From mellow prog to extreme metal, to ambient and folky vibes, spiced with a lot of effective contrasts, changing directories but united under a solid musical kingdom."
