Commented VIOLENT DIVINE's Gus Divine: "'Release The Hounds' is the perfect hybrid of the glam vibe from the debut album and the dark, gothic/metal vibe from the second album 'In Harm's Way'. 'Release The Hounds' is definitely the first choice to get the party started!"

VIOLENT DIVINE's "Blackheart" video can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "In Harm's Way", which was released on January 31, 2009 via Misty Recordings. The CD was mixed and produced by Pontus Norgren, guitarist of Swedish metal act HAMMERFALL.

Formed in late 2005, VIOLENT DIVINE received critical praise for its 2006 debut album which spawned three singles: "Rush You", "Let's Go" and "Levitate".
