VIRGIN BLACK Schedules Hometown Gig

July 21, 2008

VIRGIN BLACK, Adelaide, Australia's dark prodigal son, is set to make a very long anticipated return to the stage. The band will play its one and only Australian show for 2008 on September 6 at Live On Light Square in Adelaide. Support at the gig will come from two highly regarded Melbourne acts: THE ETERNAL and NE OBLIVISCARIS. THE ETERNAL will play in support of its upcoming full-length release, while progressive black metallers NE OBLIVISCARIS will showcase their new lineup, featuring guitarist Benjamin Baret.

VIRGIN BLACK's "Requiem – Fortissimo", the follow-up to 2007's "Requiem - Mezzo Forte", was released in February via The End Records. The album's cover art was created by esteemed fashion photographer Andrew Dunbar.
