VIRGIN STEELE: New Audio Interview With DAVID DEFEIS Available

May 20, 2009

Vocalist David DeFeis of veteran New York metallers VIRGIN STEELE was interviewed for the May 20, 2009 episode of "The Barry Kirkey Radio Show". The program is now available for download as an MP3 audio file at this location.

VIRGIN STEELE will perform at Frank Cariola's Sundance in Rocky Point, New York (621 Route 25A) on May 30. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the band will take the stage at 10:00 p.m. There will be no support acts. The group will also take part in a meet-and-greet directly after the show.

VIRGIN STEELE re-released its albums "Life Among The Ruins" (1992),"The Marriage Of Heaven & Hell Part I" (1994) and "The Marriage Of Heaven & Hell Part II" (1995) last October in Europe through the German label Dockyard 1. All three CDs contain bonus tracks, new booklets and liner notes. The bonus tracks for the "The Marriage Of Heaven & Hell Part II" album consist of two live performances recorded in Germany, while the "Life Among The Ruins" bonus cuts comprise several live acoustic tracks that were recorded in the living room of singer David DeFeis' house during rehearsals.

A brand new VIRGIN STEELE album will be released later in the year.
