VIRUS IV Signs With THUNDERING RECORDS/MANITOU MUSIC

January 21, 2008

Belgian power metal band VIRUS IV has inked a deal with Thundering Records/Manitou Music. The group's debut album, "Dark Sun", is scheduled for release later in the year.

VIRUS IV features in its ranks singer Magali Luyten of BEAUTIFUL SIN (side project of former HELLOWEEN/MASTERPLAN drummer Uli Kusch),who also appears on the latest AYREON album, "01011001", and will be featured on the next FRAMESHIFT release. According to a press release, VIRUS IV's music is "mega-melodic and [features a great] atmosphere, sometimes gothic with supporting keyboard colouring the mood or jazzy schematics with some great percussion work. All with intense power and lots of drama, the music of the band sounds from the school of RAMMSTEIN with marching riffs over a forceful stomping marching beat, and floating bridge leads powers up the dark and gloomy ambiance."
