VITAL REMAINS To Headline MILWAUKEE METALFEST, Debut New Lineup

June 18, 2003

VITAL REMAINS will be making their first live appearance in over two years at the Milwaukee Metalfest on July 26 at the U.S. Cellular Arena. This will also mark the group's first public performance with their revitalized line-up featuring the legendary Glen Benton (DEICIDE) on vocals and Tim Yeung (ex-HATE ETERNAL, NILE) on drums. Benton contributed all lead vocals to "Dechristianize", the latest VITAL REMAINS opus, that continues to garner the band rave reviews. This bludgeoning album, their first full-length release since 1999's "Dawn of The Apocalypse", is already being heralded as the best extreme metal release of 2003. "Dechristianize" is the group's most blasphemous and relentless offering to date, featuring nine tracks of melodic, epic brutality.

Tony Lazaro (founder, guitarist) and Dave Suzuki (drums, bass and lead guitars) had the following comments regarding their upcoming Metalfest appearance: "Hails to the Dechristianized Hordes! VITAL REMAINS will be playing the Milwaukee Metalfest on Saturday, July 26th and we are set to co-headline the show that night. We have just recruited drummer Tim Yeung to the VITAL war machine and are looking forward to annihilating the stage with him behind the kit alongside Benton on vocals. It will be our first live performance in two fucking years!! We look forward to killing you all at the Fest. Thanks for all the support! And now...

"LET THE KILLING BEGIN!!!"
