May 28, 2012Former DIO and current DEF LEPPARD/LAST IN LINE guitarist Vivian Campbell performed with his LAST IN LINE bandmate, vocalist Andrew Freeman (HURRICANE, LYNCH MOB) during SIR SODOFF & THE TRAIN WRECKS' May 24 concert at in Studio City, California.
Vivian played at The Baked Potato venue with his cover band and invited Andrew to guest on a version of the FREE classic "All Right Now". Video footage of the performance can be seen below.
SIR SODOFF & THE TRAIN WRECKS also features current ALICE COOPER drummer Glen Sobel.
LAST IN LINE consists of four members of the original DIO band — Campbell, Vinny Appice (drums),Jimmy Bain (bass) and Claude Schnell (keyboards) — along with Freeman.
In a recent interview with the MusicLegends.ca web site, Schnell stated about Andrew's performance at the first LAST IN LINE rehearsal, "He did an outstanding job, and if he didn't, I don't believe that he'd be the one that we'd be pursuing the project with. But he did a very, very good job. His online comments about 'preparing to be the world's most hated singer notwithstanding,' I think he's going to do a very credible and very impressive job of covering this material."
