VOLBEAT Sign With NEW AEON MEDIA, Prepare To Record Debut Album

Danish metallers VOLBEAT have inked a one-album deal with New Aeon Media, a subsidiary of Holland's Karmageddon Media. The group will enter Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark on June 17 with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR) to begin recording their as-yet-untitled debut album, tentatively due in October.

VOLBEAT's last release was a six-song promotional CD/demo, entitled "Beat the Meat". Three tracks from the CD — "Soulweeper", "Pool of Booze" and "Danny & Lucy" — can currently be downloaded from the group's web site at this location.
