VOLBEAT To Release Debut Album Through REBEL MONSTER RECORDS

June 20, 2005

Danish metallers VOLBEAT have posted the following message on their official web site:

"After months of negotiations between the band and many large record companies to secure VOLBEAT the best deal, everything has finally fallen into place. The [debut] album, 'The Strength, The Sound, The Songs', will now be released on the newly formed label Rebel Monster Records in late August/September. The label will be a sub-label to Mascot Records, and the label name is taken from a VOLBEAT song title, which is also featured on the forthcoming album. Press and promotion is already being produced and will be distributed during the summer."

"The Strength, The Sound, The Songs" was recorded at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR) and contains re-recorded tracks from the group's two demos, as well as several new songs.
