VOLTURYON: 'Coordinated Mutilation' Cover Art, Track Listing Unveiled

January 12, 2011

The cover artwork for "Coordinated Mutilation", the sophomore album from Swedish death metalers VOLTURYON, can be seen below. A gruesome masterpiece by Polish artist Lukasz Jaszak, the cover depicts a psychotic blood covered maniac butchering a cadaver with a chainsaw.

Jaszak is known for his previous works which include the "Lords Of Chaos" book cover and album covers from artists like BLOOD RED THRONE and WITCHMASTER.

"Coordinated Mutilation" will be released in February via United Guttural Records. The CD was recorded at Black Lounge and Abyss studios by Jonas Kjellgren (CARNAL FORGE, SCAR SYMMETRY, CENTINEX). The music on the disc is described in a press release as "aggressive-yet-technical death metal with thrash elements. Straight-forward and well-played. 'Coordinated Mutilation' is one solid-structured song after the next with cool riffs, solos, intensely growled vocals and a tight rhythm section."

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Bloodsoaked Solution
02. Savage Gluttony
03. Eight Corner of Slaughter
04. Euphoria Through Execution
05. Ravaged
06. Coordinated Mutilation
07. Abide under Eminence
08. Sadistic Molestation
09. Sanguinolency
10. Intense Convulsions

VOLTURYON's previous album, "Blood Cure", was released in 2008 through Obscure Domain Productions. Since then VOLTURYON has played a number of high-profile shows, including the Sweden Rock Festival where the band performed alongside AT THE GATES and CARCASS, among others.
