VREID: New Album Cover Unveiled; First Track Available For Streaming

"The Reap", a brand new song from Norwegian black metallists VREID, can be streamed using the SoundCloud player below. The track comes off he band's upcoming album, "Welcome Farewell", which will be released in North America on March 5, 2013 through Indie Recordings (February 26 in Europe). The CD was recorded mainly at bassist Hváll's Studio 1184. Other parts were recorded on the road as the band extensively toured, including an appearance at the prestigious Damnation festival in Leeds, U.K.

Commented the band: "Two years after we started writing new riffs, our new beast is now complete. It's been a lot of work, but we are utterly pleased with the result. Dark, heavy and VREID are the three keywords to describe it."
