VULCAIN Schedules North American Live Debut

September 28, 2010

Legendary '80s French metal band VULCAIN will make its North American live debut on October 9 at the Katacombes venue in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The concert, whichwill be filmed to be released on a special high-definition DVD, will also feature the black/speed metal band MIDNIGHT from Cleveland, punk metal act INEPSY and heavy/doom metal group CAUCHEMAR from Montreal. Tickets are available at this location.

VULCAIN broke out of the French underground speed metal movement in the early 1980s to rule the French metal world, selling thousand of records and packing venues and festivals across the country. Despite great demand in the '80s, these musical giants have never flown overseas until now.

Formed in Paris in 1981, VULCAIN has released seven albums, including the classics "Rock and Roll Secours", "Desperados" and "Big Brothers". Their style, a high-speed metal rock 'n' roll, quickly gave them the nickname of "the French MOTÖRHEAD." The band broke up in 1998, but came back in 2009, playing many festivals and many shows across Europe.
