W.A.S.P.: European Dates Postponed
July 2, 2007W.A.S.P. has rescheduled the shows that have been announced for Europe this week due to "a family illness occurring in the U.S. that need immediate attention," according to a posting on the group's web site. "This forced the band to return to Los Angeles right away. W.A.S.P. would like to apologize to the fans and promoters for any inconvenience caused by this fact.
As the W.A.S.P. are coming back for a full European tour in the fall of 2007, the shows are going to be moved to the dates below:
Oct. 02 - GER - Osterode - Stadthalle
Oct. 14 - HUN - Budapest - Wigwam
Oct. 23 - GER - Bochum - Zeche
For the fans that attend the Rock Harz Open Air where W.A.S.P. was scheduled to perform on Friday, July 6, the promoter is offering a price reduction to anyone that brings the festival ticket to the show.
W.A.S.P.'s entire European tour schedule will be announced on the band's official web site within the next couple of weeks.
