W.A.S.P.: New European Dates Announced

W.A.S.P. has scheduled the following European dates:

Jul. 25 - Lorca Rock Festival - Lorca (Murcia), Spain
Jul. 26 - [to be announced] - Bilbao, Spain
Jul. 29 - Turku Festival - Turku, Finland
Jul. 31 - Pakkahuone - Tampere, Finland
Aug. 01 - Teatria - Oulu, Finland
Aug. 02 - Ankkarock Festival - Korso, Vantaa, Finland

W.A.S.P. mainman Blackie Lawless was interviewed a few weeks ago by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia). Download the 23-minute audio file in MP3 format at this location (9 MB).

W.A.S.P. recently completed the European and North American legs of "The Crimson Idol Tour", which kicked off on October 26, 2007 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The band performed the 1992 album in its entirety while never-before-seen video footage was being shown throughout the show. After a short break the group returned for another a 30-minute set of W.A.S.P. classics.

W.A.S.P.'s latest album, "Dominator", was released in digipack and LP format on October 1, 2007 via Demolition Records. The digipack features a special 3D cover.
