W.A.S.P.: Norwegian Concert To Be Filmed For Upcoming DVD?

September 13, 2007

According to a posting on the web site of the Trondheim, Norway venue Samfundet, W.A.S.P.'s November 9, 2007 concert at the location will be filmed for an upcoming DVD. It should be noted, however, that this information has not yet been corroborated by the W.A.S.P. camp.

As previously reported, W.A.S.P.'s latest album, "Dominator", will be released in digipack and LP format on October 1 via Demolition Records. The digipack features a special 3D cover.

A 32-track W.A.S.P. compilation, "The Best of the Best", is scheduled for release in Europe on September 24 via Snapper Music.

W.A.S.P. in June called off its U.S. tour (which was to include ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY on many of the dates) "due to its North American label losing its distribution," according to a posting on the band's web site.

"Dominator" entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 72.
