WALLS OF JERICHO Added To FAMILY VALUES Tour

August 18, 2006

WALLS OF JERICHO has been added to the second-stage lineup of the Family Values Tour beginning with tonight's show (August 18) in Phoenix, Arizona. Having just completed its second-stage duties at Ozzfest, the band will be joining KORN, DEFTONES, FLYLEAF, STONE SOUR, DIR EN GREY, 10 YEARS, DEADSY, BURY YOUR DEAD, BULLETS AND OCTANE and others on the revived Family Values trek. A complete list of upcoming WALLS OF JERICHO tour dates can be found at this location.

As previously reported, WALLS OF JERICHO's video for the song "A Trigger Full of Promises", which is also featured on the new "Headbanger's Ball: The Revenge" double album, has been posted online at this location. Filmed by director Dale Restighini (TRIVIUM, HATEBREED, FALL OUT BOY),the clip is consistent with the band's dark sound, filmed in discarded prison cells located deep in the rural countryside of Pennsylvania. "We wanted the video to be full of dark undertones, to match the lyrical theme of the song," said drummer Dustin Schoenhofer, who actually scripted the video.

WALLS OF JERICHO's new album, "With Devils Amongst Us All", is scheduled for an August 22 release through Trustkill.

Regarding the upcoming album, guitarist Mike Hasty said, "[It is] the most varied music we've ever written. It's a lot more anthemic whereas our older material was more about aggression than composition."
