WALLS OF JERICHO To Release 'The American Dream' This Summer
June 4, 2008Detroit's WALLS OF JERICHO has set "The American Dream" as the title of its new album, due this summer via Trustkill Records. The CD is being recorded at Spider Studios in Cleveland, Ohio with Ben Schigel and Tony Gammalo. Guitarist Chris Rawson says, "We tried some new things without doing the same thing over and over. We wanted to make sure to do what we do and not go too far off the beaten track, but at the same time keep ourselves intereseted and excited. I would say it's more aggressive than [2006's] 'With Devils Amongst Us All' with lots of parts to circle-pit to so put on your running shoes get stoked and start running your ass in a circle!!"
WALLS OF JERICHO and Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR) recently collaborated on an EP entitled "Redemption". The CD, which was produced by Taylor, features primarily melodic vocals and acoustic instruments.
A four-minute video clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with WALLS OF JERICHO and Corey Taylor about "Redemption" can be viewed below.
WALLS OF JERICHO will take part in this summer's Rockstar Mayhem Festival tour, featuring SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED, MASTODON, DRAGONFORCE and more.
