WARBRINGER Completes Inaugural European Tour; Prepares For Hectic Summer Touring Schedule

June 11, 2008

Having just finished up their first European tour with legends NAPALM DEATH and SUFFOCATION, Los Angeles thrashers WARBRINGER are now bringing "Systematic Genocide" to the UK via headlining shows with GAMA BOMB before returning to the States to play a few West Coast shows and prep for their first-ever appearance at the Wacken Open Air festival on August 2 as part of their next European tour with SWORN ENEMY and ALL SHALL PERISH.

Commented vocalist John Kevill: "The European fans and people at the venues were way friendly, and that coupled with the fact that we were traveling the world made it one of the coolest things any of us have done, ever. Some highlights of the tour were Frank 'The Tank' Mullen yelling at people to jump off bridges all day at Rock Hard festival, the brotherhood of spoon tattoos, Ryan's (possibly) fictional tapeworm that made him eat like 20 sandwiches a day, the raging fucking maniacs who went berserk in places like Portugal and Poland, and any day we were in the Netherlands."

Soon after playing Wacken Open Air, WARBRINGER will embark on a North American tour beginning August 22 with label mates and blackened folk metallers FINNTROLL. This will be the band's third tour of the States after sharing stages with the likes of EXODUS, GOATWHORE, NILE, SUICIDE SILENCE and others.

Metal Sanaz conducted an interview with WARBRINGER at the Key Club in West Hollywood while they were on tour with NILE. Watch the four-minute chat below.

WARBRINGER's debut offering, "War Without End", came out on February 5.

The band's video for "Combat Shock" was filmed with acclaimed director Dan Dobi (BLEEDING THROUGH, CANNIBAL CORPSE).

"War Without End" was produced by Bill Metoyer, who has previously worked with SLAYER and D.R.I., among many other legendary acts.
