WARRANT Guitarist To Guest On MAJIC 100's 'Mitch Minute'

January 7, 2009

Guitarist Erik Turner of California rockers WARRANT will be the very special guest on the "Mitch Minute" on Friday, January 23 as part of "That '80s Show" hosted by Codi Jefferies on Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's station Majic 100. Erik will discuss (among other things) the band's new DVD, "They Came From Hollywood".

For listeners outside of Ottawa, the interview can be heard live via www.majic100.fm.

Released this past November via Cleopatra Records, "They Came From Hollywood" features the full original WARRANT lineup performing their biggest hits around the globe, including "Cherry Pie", "Down Boys", "Heaven" and more plus photo slideshows with unreleased music from the "Dog Eat Dog" sessions.

WARRANT announced in early September that it was splitting with singer Jani Lane six months after it first reunited with the troubled vocalist. "From the beginning of our reunion talks to the last note of our last show together in Houston [on August 31 at the Rock The Bayou festival], we have had nothing but good intentions of bringing a quality original WARRANT show to our fans and friends," the band explained in a statement.

WARRANT guitarist Joey Allen spoke about the band's split with Jani Lane and addition of Robert Mason (LYNCH MOB, CRY OF LOVE, BIG COCK) during a September 5, 2008 appearance on Eddie Trunk's "Friday Night Rocks" radio show on New York's Q104.3 FM.

A six-and-a-half-minute compilation of professionally filmed highlights from a September 2008 WARRANT performance with new singer Robert Mason (LYNCH MOB, CRY OF LOVE, BIG COCK) can be viewed below.
