WARRANT: Review Of First Show With New Singer Available

September 12, 2008

Sleaze Roxx reader Randy James witnessed WARRANT's debut performance with new singer Robert Mason (LYNCH MOB, CRY OF LOVE, BIG COCK) on September 9, 2008 in Tucson, Arizona (where the band was opening for ALICE COOPER). According to Randy, WARRANT bassist Jerry Dixon leaned over to guitarist Erik Turner near the end of the show and said, "Robert is fucking amazing!!" Randy himself described Mason as an "absolutely phenomenal singer who also is an outstanding showman/frontman" that sounded "stronger than on album."

WARRANT announced last week that it was splitting with singer Jani Lane six months after it first reunited with the troubled vocalist. "From the beginning of our reunion talks to the last note of our last show together in Houston [on August 31 at the Rock The Bayou festival], we have had nothing but good intentions of bringing a quality original WARRANT show to our fans and friends," the band explained in a statement.

Upcoming WARRANT shows:

Sep. 19 - Maplewood, MN - The Myth (w/ TRIXTER)
Oct. 17 - Tyler, TX - The Oil Palace (w/ QUEENSRŸCHE, KIP WINGER)
