WATAIN, DARK EMBRACE, KATHAARSYS: Spanish Dates Announced

March 18, 2008

Swedish black metallers WATAIN will team up with Spanish acts DARK EMBRACE and KATHAARSYS for four dates in Spain in April.

The details are as follows:

April 16 - Madrid (SP) @ Ritmo & Compas
April 17 - Barcelona (SP) @ Mephisto
April 18 - Soria (SP) @ Sala Play
April 19 - Carballo (A Corua, SP) @ Cervecera Dublin

Check out a poster for the tour at this location.

Video footage of WATAIN performing a cover of DISSECTION's "The Somberlain" at the VI Extreme Metal Fest on June 9, 2007 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil can be viewed below (video clip shot by Leonardo M Fonseca).

WATAIN's third full-length album, "Sworn to the Dark", was released in February 2007 via Season of Mist.

After the release of the highly acclaimed "Casus Luciferi" album in 2003 and the tour with DISSECTION in 2004, WATAIN has been forging and wielding material that clearly reveals their true potential as craftsmen of lethal black metal magic. The recording of the new album took place at the infamous Necromorbus Studio (FUNERAL MIST, MALIGN, OFERMOD, etc.).
