WAYSTED: More Tour Dates Announced

WAYSTED, the reunited mid-'80s British heavy metal outfit led by UFO bassist Pete Way (hence the spelling of the group's name),has scheduled the following dates:

Sep. 06 - Rock of Ages Festival - Asylum - Birmingham, UK
Oct. 31 - The Rigger Bar - Stoke, UK
Nov. 01 - The Marlborough Club - Ilfracombe, UK
Nov. 14 - Sawyers - Kettering, UK
Nov. 22 - The Corporation - Sheffield, UK
Nov. 27 - Trillions - Newcastle, UK
Dec. 04 - Hark2Towler - Manchester, UK
Dec. 06 - Hard Rock Hell - Prestatyn - Wales, UK

As previously reported, WAYSTED members Pete Way (bass),Fin (vocals),Paul "RD" Haslin (drums) and Nacho Jase (rhythm guitar) will appear on "The Mazzanti Effect", the rock interview program hosted by Fritz Mazzanti. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 24 at The Hollybush Freehouse, Newtown Lane, Cradley Heath in West Midlands, UK. The recording is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. and finish around 10:00 p.m.

DJ Mad Dan of Black Diamond FM's "Classic Rock Show" spoke to members of WAYSTED on the afternoon of the band's March 19, 2008 gig at Glasgow's King Tuts. The 16-minute interview can be downloaded at this location.

WAYSTED released its latest album, "The Harsh Reality", on October 29, 2007 via UK's Livewire Records. The CD featured the band's "classic" lineup of Pete Way, Fin (vocals),Chris George (guitar) and Paul Haslin (drums).
