WEDNESDAY 13 Parts Ways With ROADRUNNER RECORDS, Prepares To Record New CD
January 27, 2006MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13 has parted ways with Roadrunner Records and is currently in negotiations with a new label to release the follow-up to last year's "Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead". The band are currently in pre-production mode and plan to begin recording the new album in late February/early March with hopes for a spring release.
In other news, Wednesday has announced that he will not able to participate in the previously announced U.S. tour with Finland's THE 69 EYES. Wednesday 13 commented: "When we were first approached about doing a tour with our friends in THE 69 EYES, we jumped at the chance. However, as the dates were confirmed we realized that they would interfere with our recording schedule as this is our main priority at the moment. This will be a great tour and we are sorry to miss out on it!"
