WEDNESDAY 13 Talks About Upcoming Projects, Possibility Of MURDERDOLLS Reunion

June 6, 2007

Former MURDERDOLLS singer Wednesday 13 has posted the following question-and-answer session on his MySpace page:

Q: On the upcoming tour with THE 69 EYES, are you headlining, and what songs are you playing???

Wednesday: No we are not headlining this tour, we are playing right before THE 69 EYES, so our set will not be as long as a headlining set. Not sure what songs will be in the set yet...still deciding. Any requests????

Q: What's up with "Weirdo a Go Go", and when is it coming out???

Wednesday: We just officially finished filming the first episode and it is fucking hillarious!! I had such a good time with it and your all gonna love it. It will be available by the end of the year or right at the beginning of the New Year. We don't want to rush the editing of it and want to make sure it's done right.

Q: Any chance of another video from "Fang Bang"???

Wednesday: No plans for another video at this time.

Q: New record? What direction will the music be? Will it be a continuation of the style on "Fang Bang" or different???

Wednesday: Yes, I have a ton of new material ready to go for the next record. It's totally different than "Fang Bang", a lot darker and heavier. I've always said, I dont want to put out the same sounding record everytime.

Q: Any more tours planned for later this year in the Europe or the States??

Wednesday: Yes, some very extraordinary things planned....but again stay tuned here for more info.

Q: Why no tours in Japan and Australia for "Fang Bang"??

Wednesday: I'm as bummed out about it as you, as these countries are probably my favorite places to tour. The last tours there were amazing and I really can't wait to go back. It's really beyond my control and honestly it's just business-related bullshit. I wish I could say more but I can't. I've been trying to work it out and I will continue to do so, so dont give up on us just yet.

Q: The project BOURBON CROW?? Why country music?? Who is singing the songs??? Will there be more records in the future?

Wednesday: This project was a collaboration between myself and Rayen "Kid Kid" Belchere. We wanted to do an outlaw country record because that's all we really listened to on tour together back in 2005. Its not a parody of country music, it's as serious as any W13 record. Why country, you ask?? Why not? BOURBON CROW was inspired by outlaw country legends like Waylon, Cash, Hank, Haggard, and Coe, to name a few. Artists who said "fuck you" to the rules and played what they wanted, they were the rebels, they were the outlaws. I really identified with this over the years and felt the need to do a record in the same spirit of these legends. The music BOURBON CROW is making is not Top 40 country pop bullshit, it's whiskey-fueled fun… it's BOURBON CROW..ya either get it or you don't?? Who sings in BOURBON CROW? Rayen and I switch off singing lead vocals on all the songs. Yes, there will be more BOURBON CROW music in the future, we've got a lot of cool new tunes wrote and will be recording later this year.

Q: Why did you change band members from "Transylvania" to "Fang Bang"?

Wednesday: It was a decision that I made early in 2006. Two of the other guys had projects they were working on that was becoming a priority over W13 the band. In the winter of 2005 we were getting some great offers to play shows, but the guys weren't always available. It seemed like it would become a conflict later on when "Fang Bang" came out and when it came to touring. It also wouldn't be fair to the fans that everytime they showed up to a show, I had a different band member. I didn't want to be the guy that made the band members choose between W13 and their dreams. It wasn't a decision out of anger, or not being friends, it was just the best decision to make due to the circumstances. I wish them all the best!!!!

Q: FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS?? Reunion?? Albums??

Wednesday: Well, it was quick and gone right away. We got together for a few shows locally in 2005 and had plans to do more things in the future. It was a bit premature, it was a lot of fun, but it should've, would've, could've been out of control, and over the top...but it wasn't. There was no person to blame for it, it just wasn't the right time I guess. During that time the box set was being put together and I became more busy and involved with W13 stuff (which is and will always be the priority) and it just sorta fell to the side. Will there ever be a full reunion/tour??? Good question, but it looks pretty unlikey. FDQ...was a big, big part of my past and I'm very proud of it!!! Even though it looked promising to see the light of day again...I would say at this time it's very much just a memory.

Q: MURDERDOLLS???

Wednesday: The idea that MURDEDOLLS would reunite and record has been floating around like a ghost for almost five years now. I can't say no it won't ever happen because I'm not a psychic. I would like to think there is a possibility someday, but who knows? We all have moved on since those days and grew away from it but I know deep down inside we all think sometime... "Hey, what if we did one more?"
