West Palm Beach To Give OZZY OSBOURNE Key To City On Friday

February 25, 2010

Jonathan Tully of The Palm Beach Post reports that Ozzy Osbourne will be honored by the City of West Palm Beach on Friday at 5 p.m. at Centennial Square.

West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel will give Osbourne the key to the city in recognition for his many years of bringing both his shows and Ozzfest to South Florida.

Buzz 103.1 "Morning Buzz" host Jeremy Loper, whose station helped organize the event, said this is an opportunity for South Florida fans to show appreciation to the rocker and his family.

"Ozzfest had started off here every year for a long time, and Ozzy and Sharon always stayed in West Palm Beach," Loper said. "We want to say thank you to Ozzy and his family for all of the memories, and we thought this was the best idea to do that."
