WESTWORLD's "Skin" Debuts Stronger Than Expected

July 5, 2002

New York's WESTWORLD, featuring TNT frontman Tony Harnell and RIOT guitarist Mark Reale, had their sophomore effort, Skin, debut at college and commercial radio last week to an unexpected flood of support, coming in at #3 on FMQB and Top 10 in Album Network. Says Harnell: "It's great to be back. I'm very proud of this album and am really pleased with how it's being received at radio and by the fans. We made an honest album and it seems to be hitting a nerve. Maybe we're filling a void, I don't know."

Skin is due to receive its long-awaited North American release on Tuesday, July 9th through Dreamscape Music Group. The band will continue to do shows throughout the Northeast in support of the release.

In other news, Harnell will be co-hosting The Tour Bus with Ralph Sutton on Saturday, July 6th from 8:00 PM to midnight EST. Tony will be taking calls, playing some of his favorite songs and interviewing Geoff Tate from QUEENSRŸCHE.

As previously reported, WESTWORLD's third studio album, entitled Cyberdreams, is due on July 29th through Z Records.
