Some tabloid-style comedic relief courtesy of Worldpop:
Christina Aguilera has a surprise new love in her life... FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl! The odd couple have been dating since the start of the year after Christina split up with dancer boyfriend Jorge Santos.
A close friend of Christina revealed that 'Christina has never been happier and is thrilled. With Britney and Justin over, they are now the power couple in music.'
The pair first met at a top LA hotel back in January, and although Christina immediately had the hots for the former NIRVANA drummer, she backed off as at the time she was still dating Jorge. 'He's gorgeous,' was the verdict that the pop star told all her close friends.
With her two-year relationship with Jorge hitting the rocks over the past few months, Christina and Dave met up again by chance at the same hotel.
'Shortly after the split Christina went back to the hotel and Dave walked in,' confirmed an insider. 'An hour later they were in a darkened booth making out like crazy. They have been inseparable ever since.'
