WHEN THE DEADBOLT BREAKS Announces New Bassist

January 23, 2009

Connecticut-based doom act WHEN THE DEADBOLT BREAKS has announced the addition of Roman Garbacik (SHROUDS, ex-SCAR CULTURE, 8 TRAK MIND, MOURN MAKES MOVEMENT) to the group's ranks. Roman will take care of the bass and will share vocal duties, while John Harrison has moved over to guitar.

Commented Roman: "I've always been a fan of WHEN THE DEADBOLT BREAKS, and when they asked me to join, I jumped at the opportunity. It's been almost five years since I've been on stage in a full-time band, and I've been jonesing like a mofo!"

WHEN THE DEADBOLT BREAKS' new lineup will make its live debut on February 20 at Championship Bar and Grill in Trenton, New Jersey. Another show will follow the next day at Krug's Place in Frederick, Maryland.

The band's as-yet-untitled new double-disc album will be out sometime this year and writing has already commenced for the follow-up effort.
