WHILE HEAVEN WEPT: Audio Samples Of Entire New Album Available

October 24, 2009

Audio samples of all the tracks that appear on "Vast Oceans Lachrymose", the long-awaited new album from epic doom metallers WHILE HEAVEN WEPT, are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

"Vast Oceans Lachrymose" is scheduled for release on November 3 in North America and November 6 in Europe via Cruz Del Sur Music.

Commented Tom Phillips (guitar, keyboards): "I cannot even begin to articulate how surprised and flattered we are by the incredibly positive response to 'Vast Oceans Lachrymose' so far. While we did absolutely give ourselves completely to this album, it was a personal journey first, one that was necessary for me...but deep inside I was concerned about disappointing longtime supporters with the further diversification of the 'WHILE HEAVEN WEPT sound.' I truly hope this isn't the case, as 'Vast Oceans Lachrymose' is no different than any of our releases in that it does come from the heart and soul."

A 180gm audiophile LP version (in a stellar gatefold sleeve) of "Vast Oceans Lachrymose" will be released mid-November via Maniacal Records in a limited edition of 500 copies.
