WHITECHAPEL Announces Headlining Tour In Secondary Markets

Knoxville, Tennessee death metallers WHITECHAPEL have announced a headlining tour starting late August with support coming from THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, IMPENDING DOOM, and A DIFFERENT BREED OF KILLER with MOLOTOV SOLUTION on select dates. The headlining run, which has been dubbed the "Bang Your Head 'Til We Raise the Dead Tour", will kick off on August 28 in Seattle, WA and run through September 28 in Knoxville, TN.

"This Is Exile", the new album from WHITECHAPEL, sold 5,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 117 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was tracked by Jonny Fay (ex-guitarist of THE RED CHORD) of Backyard Studios in New Hampshire and was mixed by Zeuss, who has produced ION DISSONANCE, EMMURE, BLOOD HAS BEEN SHED, SHADOWS FALL and HATEBREED, among others. The cover artwork was handled by Colin Marks, who has previously worked with ABORTED, THE END, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and THE RED DEATH).

WHITECHAPEL's debut album, "The Somatic Defilement", was released last year via Candlelight Records USA.
