WHITESNAKE Frontman At 'Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards'; Video Footage Available

The second episode of Whitesnake TV, featuring footage from the third annual Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards 2012, which was held on August 26 at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, can be seen below. Vegas Rocks! Magazine celebrated its eighth anniversary in a big way as the rock 'n' roll royal red carpet was rolled out for some of the biggest stars in the music business.

Many national artists were honored at the event, including Sammy Hagar (CHICKENFOOT, VAN HALEN),David Coverdale (WHITESNAKE) and Michael Schenker (UFO, SCORPIONS),Geoff Tate (QUEENSRŸCHE),Vinnie Paul Abbott (PANTERA, HELLYEAH) and Levi Benton (MISS MAY I). Also in attendance presenting/performing were Michael Anthony (CHICKENFOOT, VAN HALEN),John 5 (MARILYN MANSON, ROB ZOMBIE),Eddie Trunk (VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show"),Kip Winger (WINGER),Mark Kendall ( GREAT WHITE),Blas Elias (SLAUGHTER),Nick Oshiro (STATIC-X),Marq Torien (BULLETBOYS),Ron Jeremy, SIN CITY SINNERS, Ron Keel (KEEL),and many others.

Sammy Hagar was honored with the prestigious "Voice Of Rock" award for the evening; David Coverdale was honored with the "Lifetime Achievement In Rock N' Roll" award; Michael Schenker received the "Rock Guitar Legend" award; Geoff Tate received the "Voice In Progressive Heavy Metal" award. Vinnie Paul received the "Drum Legend Icon" award; and Levi Benton received the "Male Metal Star Of Tomorrow" award. Sammy Hagar also took the stage to perform a tribute for Ronnie Montrose and led the all-star celebrity performance for the grand finale for the evening.

Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards was hosted by the "publishing queen of rock and roll," Sally Steele.
