WHITESNAKE's 'Here I Go Again' Used In WALMART 'Back To School' Commercial

August 12, 2016

WHITESNAKE's smash hit single "Here I Go Again" is being used by retail giant Walmart in a "Back To School" commercial. You can see the 30-second spot below.

Walmart is offering deals on school supplies, including 26 in-demand items like pencils, markers, folders and calculators to "guarantee low prices both online and in-store" throughout the shopping season, according to a press release.

Parents around the United States are expected to spend $75.8 billion, an increase from last year's $68 billion, during the back-to-school shopping season.

Of the growth in 2016, ecommerce was beginning to take the lead, with 43.3 percent of the growth of U.S. retail sales coming from online sales.

"Here I Go Again" was originally released on WHITESNAKE's 1982 album "Saints & Sinners" and was later re-recorded for the band's eponymous 1987 album "Whitesnake".
