Win Trip To See THE CULT In London

September 18, 2007

Starting September 30, customers can head into their nearest Guitar Center and enter for a chance to win a VIP trip for two to see THE CULT live in London and watch from side stage. The prize package includes round-trip tickets for two, hotel accommodations and $1,000 dollars spending cash. And, if that wasn't enough, Roland/Boss is hooking up the winner with a $2,500 Guitar Center shopping spree. "We're excited to be working with Roland to be able to offer our customers this unique opportunity to see THE CULT, a band that is as relevant today as they were 20 years ago," states Darren Feldman, Director of Partnership Marketing for Guitar Center.

THE CULT, led by founding members, vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy, embarked on a series of European arena shows with rock legends THE WHO starting this past June. The band added headline dates and festival appearances along the route, building on the overwhelming reaction to their 2006 sold-out world tour. "Meeting THE CULT and watching from side stage is the coolest experience a CULT fan can have," exclaims Feldman.

Roadrunner Records will release THE CULT's new album, "Born into This", on October 2. An e-card for the CD — full of desktops, IM icons, video, and audio — can be accessed at this location.

As previously reported, another brand new track from THE CULT, entitled "I Assassin", is available for download at this location (free sign-up required). THE CULT's previous single, "Dirty Little Rock Star", can be streamed in its entirety at this location.
