WINTERS BANE To Record New Demo

Akron, Ohio-based WINTERS BANE — best known as the former home of current JUDAS PRIEST frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens — will be entering the studio at the end of March to record a four-song demo that will shopped to the leading metal labels. The group's forthcoming album — which will mark the recording debut with the group of new vocalist Alexander Koch (POWERGOD, SPIRAL TOWER) and drummer Jeff Currenton — will contain such cuts as "Remember To Forget", "Catching The Sun", "Seal The Light", and "Dice With Death". The follow-up to 1997's "Girth" is tentatively due at the end of the year.
