WINTERS DAWN Signs With HEART OF STEEL RECORDS

March 27, 2009

Heart Of Steel Records has announced the signing of Greece's WINTERS DAWN. The band's full-length debut, "The Winter Is Dawning", will be released in early May. According to a press release, the CD "is a perfect mix of U.S. power metal a la SAVATAGE / CRIMSON GLORY / RIOT ('Thundersteel' era) and JAG PANZER, enforced by brilliant and emotional melodies that are carrying this special 'old-school' metal touch." Guest lead guitarists on the CD include Jeff Waters (ANNIHILATOR),Theodore Ziras and Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, DOCTOR BUTCHER, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA).

"The Winter Is Dawning" will be made available with a deluxe, full-color booklet with lyrics and photos.

Formed in 1998, WINTERS DAWN recorded its first mini-CD, "Nitro", in late 2003.
