A CD-release party will take place on June 10 at Loppen in Copenhagen. "You will have the opportunity to hear a lot of the new songs as well as having the chance to sing, scream, yell, cough — or whatever suits you better — along to the evergreens!" the group write on their web site. "Support band this evening will be KILLAMAN from Sweden."
"Force The Pace" (view cover here) was recorded at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC, RAUNCHY). The track listing for the CD is as follows (in no particular order):

WITHERING SURFACE were previously signed to the British record company Copro Records. Copro released the band's third album, "Walking On Phantom Ice", in the fall of 2001, but was not able to finance the recording of the group's follow-up effort, thus allowing the band to seek out a new label home.
