WITHIN CHAOS Signs With KOCH RECORDS

August 17, 2007

Dallas/Ft. Worth TX-based metal act WITHIN CHAOS has inked a worldwide, four-album deal with KOCH Records. The group's debut CD, "Virulent", was mixed and mastered by Ben Schigel and will be released on October 23.

Commented KOCH president Bob Frank: "KOCH Records continues to strengthen its base in the metal world with the signing of WITHIN CHAOS." WITHIN CHAOS frontman Danny Reid added, "We'd been working with our manager for a year, and he just called us up and told us that he'd set up a showcase to play for KOCH. We played the show, and everybody liked it, so here we are. We were obviously really, really excited about what's gonna happen."

According to the band's official bio, "WITHIN CHAOS is a unique blend of power driven metal mixed with solid, heavy, hardcore brutality. 'Virulent' is a fresh unique album that hints of classic metal influences including SLAYER, PANTERA, and MEGADETH, as well as some of the more modern monsters of metal and hardcore, LAMB OF GOD, CHIMAIRA, MACHINE HEAD, and HATEBREED."

WITHIN CHAOS is:

Danny Reid - Vocals
Jim Taylor - Bass
Travis Denham - Drums
Jason Huggett – Guitar
