May 29, 2005

WITHIN TEMPTATION's video for their new single, "Angels", has been posted online at Viva.tv. Photos from the video shoot in Spain can be found at this location.

"Angels" comes off the group's new album, "The Silent Force", available now on BMG. The follow-up to "Mother Earth" was mixed at Toytown Studios in Sweden and was produced by Daniel Gibson, who co-wrote four songs with the band, including the album's first single, "Stand My Ground".

In other news, WITHIN TEMPTATION will perform on the Java Island in Amsterdam on July 22. This beautiful location, in the middle of the river behind the main train station of Amsterdam, will be rebuilt to a spectacular area where the band will give a concert in front of 10,000 fans with special guests and effects. "We have never done a concert like this before, it really promises to be a unique experience," the group write on their web site. "These upcoming weeks we will keep you posted on all the details. We really look forward to the concert and hope to see you all there!"
